Your legal documents are now being safely stored by Octopus Legacy
Having taken the decision to close down, Waughs Solicitors has carefully selected Octopus Legacy to take on the protection of any of your legal documents previously stored with Waughs - such as your will, LPA or deeds, on their behalf. As of 14th April this allows you to access our safe and secure storage facilities and other benefits.
What this means for you
Your estate plan documents have been securely transferred to our state-of-the-art storage facility. Where they are being professionally stored in one of our legal document storage facilities, which are fireproof, waterproof and secured with monitored intruder alarms, CCTV and access control measures. They can be accessed at any time by contacting our team.
We understand that your legal documents may have already moved in the past, but with this move, you can be assured that your will is now under the protection of a company known for its stability, reliability, and exceptional customer service.
What happens next?
You will shortly receive a letter from Waughs and from Octopus Legacy confirming this change and with more information including:
- Information about your estate plan and its safe and secure storage.
- Details on how to review your estate plan to ensure it is up to date and your wishes will be followed, alongside support with any other estate planning needs.
- Key information for your executors.
- Details on how to request the return of your will, LPA or deeds free of charge, should you want to.
